“Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)” is a hair transplantation method where individual hair follicles are extracted from resistant areas of the scalp without cutting or stitching. They are then transplanted into bald or thinning areas on the same day, usually under local anesthesia or sedation. Recovery is quick with minimal scarring, and the donor area can be reused for additional sessions if needed. However, it’s important to perform FUE in a hospital setting to minimize risks such as infection or necrosis.
