Tooth Filling

The first step in dental filling application is to prepare the remaining tooth tissue. First of all, the caries should be cleaned or if there is a filling that has been done before, it should be cleaned. The gap is filled by selecting the material in accordance with the position, size and function of the tooth in the mouth. Local anesthesia can be used during the filling application. After the filling process, tenderness and pain can be seen for up to 12 hours. Attention should be paid to hot-cold consumption for a certain period of time after the filling process. In case of decay in a large part of the tooth tissue, filling cannot be applied, first root canal treatment is performed.
